We made a special Mother's Day trip to Voyage because nothing in the Grand Rapids area compares to their fresh açaí bowls I was craving. The handmade peanut butter and chocolate drizzle make them a guilt-free, yet satisfying, well-rounded meal. I love these bowls, lattes, lemonade, etc. There is nothing bad coming out of the window at Voyage Bowls! Everything is absolute PERFECTION! Seriously, the presentation and care they put into each bowl is above and beyond. The fresh and healthy ingredients meld together in absolute deliciousness. It takes me back to Oahu in the very first bite. Eating this only seems sinful because of how good it is, but I feel more energized and good about myself after indulging.

We'll set up a "build your own bowl" station. Your guests will top their bowls themselves.

Christyna and her crew made our day when they rolled up for a teacher appreciation event, courtesy of our PTO. Most of our staff knew we were in for a treat as we lined up on the playground. Staff who were away on a field trip said "hey get me one of those bowls and put it in the freezer!" Staff new to Voyage Bowls instantly become fans. Everyone raved about how delicious their lunch was. It was such a unique and special treat to have Voyage Bowls cater for us. We certainly felt loved and supported.

Hi! We're Christyna and Dustin.
We're Michigan natives, doing our best to explore the world and help as many people as possible live their healthiest lives.

We've been to Croatia, China, Mexico, Iceland, France, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Germany, Holland, Bosnia, Montenegro, the US (including Alaska) and have a long bucket list of travel destinations.
Throughout the world and different cultures, we noticed a resounding theme.
Food is a powerful way to bring people together and fuel our bodies.

We are fueled by our passions - health and travel. As we dreamed of a way to live a purpose-driven life, Voyage Bowls was created.

We renovated and restored an old food truck. We researched and taste-tested açai until our tongues turned purple. The result....

Maddie
Maddie is our go-to-girl! This is her FOURTH summer working the truck ~heyy longest working employee!~
Her go-to-bowl is a BYOB featuring açaí, granola, strawberry, pineapple, maple syrup, peanut butter, and hemp seeds. YUM! Make an extra for us, please!
Listening to music while serving up açaí gives Maddie life. Be sure to ask what she’s jammin’ to (maybe she will share a Spotify playlist with you)!
Anna
Anna is one of our newbies this summer!
She can be found at the GH beach when she isn’t blending your smoothie in our food truck (fellow beach bums, raise your hand!). We’re so happy you joined our team, girly!
She thrives when she is with others and stays busy - be sure to chat her up and ask to see videos of her puppy playing in a kiddie pool (guaranteed mood booster!)
Olivia
Olivia is back this summer for round two!
Olivia recently traveled to Hawaii and ate açaí bowls on the beach. Guess what – she prefers our açai bowls on the GH beach! Sorry (not sorry) Hawaii - we’ve got the world’s best açai.

Sarah
Sarah is serving up bowls for her second summer!
In addition to being a fabulous fruit chopper, Sarah is a talented string instrument musician! When she isn’t making bowls or strumming to her favorite song, you can catch her enjoying coffee at Aldea (great news, we serve Aldea coffee, so Sarah stays highly caffeinated).
If you say, “hey Sarah, make me your favorite bowl” she will whip up an unsalted bowl + extra blueberries + sea salt. YUM!
Isabel
Isabel is here for her third summer! We can’t wait for all of the açaí-awesomeness to come.
Isabel enjoys going for hikes, cracks up when watching the movie “Everywhere all at Once,” and loves hanging with friends.

Fun fact: Isabel’s friends call her “Birdie.”
If she could change one thing on the menu, she would substitute blueberries for bananas on the Bucketlist Bowl *and then eat it every day that ends in “y”*.
Laura
Laura (or L-money as she likes to be called!) is also here for her third summer - what can we say, great food, great friends, it’s an awesome place to work! She is energized by talking to people and sippin’ on our Sleeping Bear Dunes latte.
Laura is a talented cellist (as in she plays the cello, not a biochemist experimenting with cells)
When Laura isn’t working, you can find her at the beach, grabbing a snack downtown, and playing Pokemon Go…gotta catch ‘em all!
Reese
Reese is making her debut at the food truck this summer. Welcome, cutie pie! Although from her name you might think her favorite bowl is the Bucketlist (hello peanut butter and chocolate!) but actually it’s the Salty Soul.
Reese is obsessed with her dog snoring (it’s so loud and hilarious - ask her to show you a video!) and lifting…so don’t mess with her! (+ strong emoji)
Reese is energized when she connects with her coworkers and YOU, so be sure to say hi and ask her about her favorite Colleen Hoover book It Ends With Us.
Julia
Julia is açai bowl obsessed and back for her second summer at the truck! Her favorite thing on the menu is *everything* but if she really had to pick she would say our homemade drippy peanut butter.
If you see Julia and think “dang girl where did you get that stylin’ outfit?” the answer is probably Lee and Birch or Gliks - her second and third favorite places in GH (after Voyage Bowls, of course!)
Julia loves to be outside, especially on those ~rare~ sunny days in MI ;) If it’s cloudy when she works and we aren’t super busy, you will find Julia making Marie Kondo proud with her organizational skills.
Sofia
Sofia is with us for her second summer and her favorite menu item is our newest one - the matcha bowl.
Sofia loves to hammock, hang at the beach, listen to music, and laugh with the most recent viral TikTok.

She is a very talented guitar player.
